Fanstatic opportunity for a Regional Security Manager supporting one of Securitas’ multinational technology clients!

The Regional Security Manager (RSM) is responsible for delivering effective and efficient physical security operations and programs that protect critical infrastructure. The RSM must be comfortable working in a highly complex, fast paced, and collaborative culture. Managing a team of Campus Security Managers (CSMs) in geographically separated facilities. The RSM verifies compliance with security procedures and policies, tracks audit readiness, and provides direction to ensure physical security requirements are met or exceeded. Reporting to the Regional Director of Security Operations, the RSM works directly with management, the client and other vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.

  • To be successful you must be flexible regarding availability outside regular working hours.
  • Working Monday to Friday, however, the RSM is expected to be contactable regardless of the time of day or night.
  • Must have a valid SIA license.
  • This role will consist of extensive travel across EMEA (which will include UK, France, Spain and Italy).
  • This is a field based role and the successful candidate will ideally be located around the London Area / M4-M5 corridor.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruits, hires, and proactively manages Campus Security Managers (CSMs) and supports efforts to do the same.
  • Oversees site-level operation of security systems and timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Verifies compliance with security procedures, standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Supports regulatory, industry and contractual audits.
  • Manages and reviews security reports, works with security personnel to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provides detailed security management and status reports.
  • Communicates issues to management in a timely manner and provides recommendations for resolution.
  • Develops, manages and maintains security-related processes, procedures, training and improvement plans.
  • Documents and improves work processes to make workflow more efficient and productive.
  • Keeps management informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
  • Listens to the customer and seeks to provide highly effective solutions to accomplish the customer’s goals.
  • Works with other RSMs and stakeholders to create security models.
  • Coordinates with local and country governing bodies/agencies.
  • Works with manager and stakeholders to identify new initiatives and contributes to the long-term strategy and goals.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business / Management/ or related field) and/or 5 years of experience in a corporate security, military or law enforcement position.
  • 5 years of well documented managerial experience in one or more of the following areas: security operations, service planning, service development or related operational field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
  • Educational exceptions may be considered based on professional experience.
  • Professional certifications preferred (CPP, PSP, etc.)
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (ie. mobile phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation and complies with Securitas’ Car Allowance Policy.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment 5-year history screening process, including drug screen and background checks.
