Stryker Spine UK/Ire have a unique opportunity for a highly driven and experienced individual to lead the North West/Midlands Team within the Spine Franchise.

Leading a team of 7 highly talented sales people, you will be responsible for the management of your region, the leadership of your team as well as full responsibility for sales/turnover and costs so that optimized customer service and acquisition of new customers is guaranteed. You must have a proven track record of delivering exceptional results over an extended period, both personally and ideally through teams. This Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will report into the National Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceed & deliver against the quarterly and yearly business budget whilst managing instrument utilisation, recurring revenue pipeline development alongside accurate forecasting vs. budget reporting directly into the National Sales Manager.
  • Manage, lead, and motivate a high performing sales team, supporting and driving them strategically and tactically to accelerate business within the spine segment.
  • Support and collaborate with enabling functional teams such as Contracts & Pricing, Compliance, Customer Service, and finance to ensure smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
  • Build local clinical champions to support driving forward both current and future technology platforms across the entire portfolio.
  • Understand / Utilize market dynamics to support business acceleration.
  • Take a creative approach to new business development for both current and future technologies utilising both implants and our Enabling Technology Platform.

Experience
  • Proven long term success in sales and/or marketing experience
  • Training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences/economics is preferred.
  • Ideally product and sales knowledge in the Spine or Orthopaedic segment
  • Economic knowledge
  • Commercial skills in leading a profit centre
  • Knowledge of a CRM system
  • Computer skills, MS Office
  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media

Other Information
  • This role will require regional travel and to stay away from home overnight on a regular basis for customer visits.

  • The ideal location for the successful candidate would be in the North West or Midlands.
