The Regional Process Owner (RPO) is responsible for the end-to-end (E2E) Record to Report (R2R) processes within the assigned region and reports to the Global Business Services (GBS) Global Process Owner (GPO), Record to Report. The RPO, R2R ensures quality and continuity of services as delivered to the internal customer base and broader business. This role will drive our GBS vision within the assigned region, partnering with cross-functional leaders and key stakeholders to develop the regional transition roadmap while also playing a key role in activities related to the design of process and governance.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities
- Shape the vision and strategy for end-to-end processes within region to enable business objectives
- Communicate and drive alignment among regional, functional and divisional leaders
- Work with GBS project management to drive the regional end-to-end implementation of strategic initiatives
- Support the GPO to create visibility of innovative solutions in industry forums to the local region
- Work in partnership with Regional Controllers, Tax and Treasury teams in governance and execution of all R2R activities
- Establish productive management level relationships with regional leadership to ensure the two-way flow of information regarding strategies, priorities, requirements, disputes, and issues
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations from a continuous improvement perspective
- Ensure alignment with recommendations from Audit and Compliance leadership.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience with financial reporting, governance and audit within in a large global enterprise
- Thorough knowledge of finance and accounting principles, particularly around transaction processing, financial reporting and management / cost reporting
- Previous experience in facilitating design and configuration of Record to Report Financial applications/tools
- Ability to document requirements and use-cases and recommendation of envisioned processes
- Strong business skills and experience in Accounting, Finance and operations
- Ability to assess functional and technical gaps in designs
- Experience in developing detailed work plans for project activities within scope of application responsibility
- Experience in training and supporting end users in Record to Report Financial applications/tools
- Experience in testing Record to Report applications/tools instances to successfully validate application setups, including input to test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts is required
- Leader, team player and change agent proficient at motivating others
- Prior experience with root cause analysis / complex troubleshooting is a plus
- Proficient at managing and/or successfully resolving conflict
- Previous experience operating within a financial shared services environment is a plus
- Previous experience working with BPO provider is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
