We are recruiting for an energetic and self-driven Recruitment Manager to join our busy recruitment team. You will work in conjunction with the UK Recruitment Manager, UK Recruitment Hub and site leadership team to support business growth alongside maintaining existing established business contracts.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide a high quality and proactive service to both internal and external customers, meeting both corporate and statutory requirements, encompassing all aspects of recruiting and adding value in support of the Company’s business objectives.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the site leadership team on best practice in human resources recruiting and compliance with employment legislation, and internal security and audit procedures
  • Work closely with the HR Manager in the development of a performance driven culture, which encourages individual ownership of results and associate development
  • Own all on site assessments and interviews. Conducting where appropriate and ensuring interviews are carried out to a prescribed standard if conducted by others.
  • Partner with onsite Operations and the Recruitment Hubs to ensure the Hire Plan is up to date and adhered to.
  • Ensure a high quality candidate experience at interview and onboarding.
  • Work closely with the Resourcing Hubs to ensure a consistent quality and quantity of interviews are booked.
  • Drive applicant flow locally through engaging with job centers/colleges, flyer drops etc.
  • Manage the hire plan for all on site campaigns liaising between onsite Operations and the Recruitment Hubs.
  • Partner with onsite HR and Learning to focus on decreasing leavers in training.
  • Responsibility for leavers up to 60- 90 days.
  • Ensure Day 1 and Induction is a positive experience for all new starters.
  • Responsibility for the quality of all site based agent hires.
  • Recruit for non-agent site based roles with support from Recruitment Hubs as appropriate.
  • To ensure that the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment law specifically relating to GDPR and Eligibility to Work.
  • To support the HR Manager and Learning manager in the effective onboarding and induction onsite.
  • To take personal responsibility to understand and comply with all company and client security requirements and policies.

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILLS

  • CIPD/REC qualified or equivalent would be desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Experience working with high volume recruitment within short timescales would be desirable.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to lead and drive change initiatives, with good understanding of the principals of change management.
  • Ability to be hands on but also able to work on strategic projects.
  • Ability for problem solving, conflict resolution, motivation and negotiation.
  • Assertive with a can do attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Candidates must have proven experience within a fast paced, highly energetic environment, and be able to make positive contributions towards business improvement and teamwork.

Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 pa plus 10% quarterly bonus
