Here at TeacherActive, we’re currently on the hunt for a Recruitment Consultant to join the team in Chelmsford! Located in the city centre, you’ll be joining a friendly, buzzing, and fast paced, office, where it’ll be your responsibility to provide excellent supply staff for your schools, whilst continuing to build both new and existing relationships.

Recruitment experience is not essential – what we are looking for is energy and passion! You will need to be confident, resilient, and able to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. So, what will you be doing?

Your role as a Consultant will involve a mixture of business development and building relationships with schools, with an aim to understand their needs and provide them with an excellent service. You will actively source candidates by posting creative, and attractive job adverts, and interview and register suitable applicants.

But what will you need to be able to achieve this?

To achieve this and successfully fill your schools’ vacancies, you will need excellent time management skills, be able to use initiative to meet targets, and work in a solution focused manner.

More importantly, you will need to bring energy, passion, and fire! Recruitment is not for the faint hearted, however, if you are open minded and willing to put the work in, the rewards can be spectacular!

  • Basic Salary £24-38k (depending on previous recruitment experience)

Working Hours

In term time, Monday 7.30-5.30pm, Tuesday-Thursday 7.30-5pm, Friday 7.30-4.30pm.

In school holidays, Reduced hours - 8.30-3.30pm approx
