Job content
We are currently looking for a candidate to join a busy HR team who are looking for a candidate to support them with recruitment and training administration duties. This is a hands-on position where each working day will be different, and you will need to have the ability to work well under pressure. As well as this we are looking for a candidate who has excellent computer skill, good attention to attention to detail and the ability to deal with confidential information.
Duties include:
- Advertising vacancies
- Logging of all CV’s and scheduling of interviews
- Track and manage candidates within the recruitment process
- Processing and getting approval on offer of employment
- Generating offer and new starter forms
- Planning the onboarding of new starters including IT, HR and health and safety inductions
- Completing pre-employment planning including right to work checks, IT new starter forms and ensuring PPE/uniform requirements are managed
- Co-ordinating and monitoring the training requirements for all staff
- Checking training certificates – expiry dates and qualifications
- Adding all relevant details onto the inhouse system
- Contacting Training Centres – to get prices, book training courses and check attendees
- Liaising with recruitment agencies regarding applications
- Organising recruitment related events
- Assisting with the recruitment of apprentices and the annual scholarship student programme
- Onboarding ne members of staff and assisting with induction/ training
- Following up on all training courses attended for delegate and manager feedback
- Recording and evaluating all feedback received
- Maintaining training records for all members of staff
- Making travel and accommodation bookings
- Ensuring that all internal training activities are scheduled, communicated, and recorded
Skills and Experience required:
- HR, Recruitment, Training or Learning and Development experience is essential
- Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good understanding of Employment Law would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong coordination and organisation skills
- Confidentiality and data protection understanding
- Ability to work under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
