Overview of the role

We are looking for a Recruiter to join our friendly team based in Gloucester to help support with the recruitment across the business, you be using our brand new ATS system to support with the recruitment for around 30 care services, and you will be working alongside a busy HR Team, this is a great opportunity if you are looking to join a HR deparmtent and love talking to lots of new people!

Key duties

  • Advertising and recruiting for vacancies using our ATS system
  • Working as a part of the wider HR team.
  • Calling applicants to pre-screen to discuss role, arranging interviews/conducting interviews
  • Attending Job Fairs
  • Working closely within our team to ensure transparency, consistency and efficiency across the department.
  • Building relationships within the team, Head Office and the Homes, whilst providing excellent customer service to our candidates.
  • Helping Maintaining in-house spreadsheets, including Right to Work, DBS, Recruitment Tracker, Bonus Trackers, Staff List and the Apprenticeship spreadsheet, to ensure all new starters are compliant to commence employment and this is executed in a timely manner.
  • Collate relevant data for monthly Recruitment/HR meetings.
  • Ad hoc recruitment and HR projects
  • Ad-hoc project work and reporting as requested by the HR Manager.
  • Organise and categorise the joint HR Mailbox to ensure all emails are dealt with proactively and in a professional manner relating to the tasks above.

Other Responsibilities may include;

  • Providing any general admin assistance required by the homes
  • Generally covering the workload of other staff where necessary at holiday times and other absences. Taking minutes for disciplinary hearings as and when required.
  • Conduct all work with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • To answer phone calls, take messages and/or guide to the correct person.
  • Supporting the team in coming up with recruitment solutions to challenging situations

Personal attributes

  • Hold a UK drivers licence
  • Confident with strong comminication skills
  • Experieince within a administrative role is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work innovatively and creatively
