Our Collections teams provide support to our Global Business customers, managing accounts with a strong focus on cash collection, and aged debt clearance.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of a high performing, fast-paced team who always strive to exceed cash targets and minimise loss whilst operating in line with FCA, DPA and Banking Code Regulations. This role is fast-paced working across multiple platforms with the aim to provide a first-time resolution service to all our customers.

Main duties of the role:

  • Manage several processes linked with Insolvency of customers with the aim of mitigating risk and reducing debt exposure
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the debt portfolio and reduce losses through proactive decision making
  • Accountable for the consistent performance of assigned Recoveries processes in meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly objectives
  • Review of processes on a regular basis to drive a culture of continuous improvement and growth
  • Provide analytical views based on data and trends that drive informed decisions and strategy

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in managing merchant insolvent events
  • Understanding of wider Collection’s process
  • Previous exposure to working in a targeted driven environment
  • Verbal & written communication is a key part of this role, building effective internal and external business relationships.
  • Focused, proactive self-starter with good interpersonal skills
  • Good Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Added bonus if you have:

  • Insolvency Qualifications
  • Experience working in a regulated company following the FCA, DPA, TCF & Banking Code Regulations.
  • Understanding around the BACS rules
