Job Purpose

To provide a professional customer focused Reception and Telephonist service to MDIS companies ensuring efficiency and understanding at all times, when dealing with callers and to undertake administration work when required to support Customer Services Unit (CSU).

Overview of Responsibilities

  • To deliver the best possible customer service when dealing with existing or potential customers
  • Ensure telephone callers receive prompt, courteous and professional attention and that messages are taken when required and passed on in a timely manner
  • Greet personal callers promptly, courteously and deal with their enquiries in an efficient and effective manner, calling upon other staff as appropriate and ensuring visitors sign in via the Inventry system upon arrival and departure, and generate a pass for the visitor.
  • Provide refreshment to visitors on arrival and as required
  • Provide administration support as directed by CSU Management.
  • Monitor stationery levels and generate orders were required.
  • Maintain a semblance of order in the stock room
  • General office duties, as required
  • Log and distribute all incoming post to relevant departments
  • To manage daily outgoing post by collecting, franking and recording for special delivery on day of receipt.

Experience / Skills

  • Excellent knowledge, understanding and experience of Customer Services
  • Good verbal and written Communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Demonstrable ability to use own initiative and flexible in personal approach
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
