Are you an ex-military engineer with a telecommunications/radio/networking background? I am currently recruiting for my client who are a leading provider of communications solutions to their prestigious customer base. They have an immediate requirement for a Radio Systems Engineer to join their team at their site in Bridgwater, Somerset. The successful Radio Systems Engineer will work as part of a small team and will be responsible for the programming, configuration, maintenance and repair of radio communications and networking equipment across a large site. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be willing to undertake security clearance. Working at heights and within confined spaces is a requirement for the role, therefore candidates must be able to do this.

Radio Systems Engineer Requirements:

  • Proven telecommunications/radio background.
  • Cellular/Wi-Fi network knowledge would be advantageous.
  • RF knowledge.
  • Willing to undertake security clearance.
  • Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces.
  • Hold full driving licence.

Radio Systems Engineer Benefits:

  • Salary is competitive and payable depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday – 8am – 4pm.
  • Overtime payable.
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays rising with service up to a maximum of 28 days.
  • Profit related bonus scheme – company discretionary up to 5% of salary.
