R&D Manager Operations – Health Relief

The role of the R&D Operations Manager is to protect, maintain & optimise a complex portfolio of relief products on a global scale. This role is responsible for leading a large team to deliver a varied set of projects and maintenance activities aligned with the relevant business, regulatory and supply strategies. In addition, you’ll be responsible for defining functional best practice, alignment and implementation of relevant strategy with cross functional stakeholders and embedding a people first culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include providing strategic direction to the team in order to:
  • Deliver technical and project management and ensure all required formulation, feasibility work, analysis, validation, stability testing, industrial trials and dossier preparation are performed on time and to the required quality and regulatory standards per product classification and in line with the RB processes.
  • Develop an R&D team of global product portfolio experts who champion the science and consumer experience behind our brands, creating equal opportunities for all the team and doing the right thing, always.


You’ll succeed because….

Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related scientific discipline, you will have a depth of R&D experience and a proven track record of delivery within an FMCG/OTC Health environment. People management experience is important, coupled with excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem solving and analytical skills; the ability to prioritise high volume and complex workloads is key.
