We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor that will provide a leading role to support our projects and programmes with commercial aspects.

Assist the commercial team, where necessary, to implement work winning strategy at procurement stage

Responsibilities (Duties):

• Estimating Door & firestopping works
• Processing Valuations for projects
• Site visits
• Client liaison for projects
• Update Master library prices and adding new items
• Assisting the team in accordance with delivery programme
• Assist in the implementation of the Tender Event Schedule
• Preparing Tender Documentation
• Cost control and administration
• Subcontractor management
• Contract administration
• Change Control
• Budget Management
• Accuracy of forecasting
• Interface with project and onsite teams
• Interface with finance and administration teams

Qualifications

• Holding or working toward a construction commercial qualification (such as Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management) preferred
• Knowledge/Experience:
• Working in a finance or commercial function within the engineering or construction sector
• Knowledge of finance systems
• Cost and budget administration
• Financial and commercial reporting
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gillingham, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
