The Business
This business has been providing quality automotive parts and components for 20 years now to many leading brand names and suppliers.
Main Role Responsibilities
The Quality Technician role supports the wider Quality Engineers by providing support with quality issues and development requirements in production. Further responsibilities and expectations would involve:-
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out product tests and thorough independent final inspections
- Checking, progressing and collating accurate build and inspection records.
- Providing technical support for production line Quality support activities.
- Inspect and auditing of components.
- Investigation of any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective actions.
- Supporting regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate.
- Ensure all products flow through the inspection department.
- Maintain the calibration system, ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated.
- Assist the Quality Engineer with new product introduction.

- A strong sense of quality and desire for corrective action.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Starting salary will be in the region of £22,500 – 27,500.00 dependent on skills and experiences plus Holidays, free parking and more.
- The role hours are any 5 from 7 across shifts of 06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00

- ONC, City & Guilds, BTec Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification or 5 years’ experience of working in a similar role.
- Proven experience of working in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment
