Job description

Quality / Technical Assistant required by an award winning leading FMCG fragrance and toiletries brand based in Harrow, West London. This is a really good opportunity to develop a career in Consumer Goods and in particular in the Fragrance, Cosmetics & Toiletries Industry. Salary: £24k to £26k - based on experience

You:
With previous experience in a similar Quality / Technical Assistant role, you will be able to communicate both written and verbally in an accurate and professional manner. Though the role is mainly clerical there will be opportunities to visit our contract manufacturers and component suppliers as well as participating in our fragrance selection process. Any experience of working within the toiletry/ cosmetic industry (either product or components) would be beneficial but is not essential.

Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for:
-Collating and quality checking technical documents and product images for product registration.
-Uploading documents on to UK and European governmental websites.
-Co-ordinating with Product Safety Assessors and external test laboratories to ensure all information is available to evaluate and test new products
-Setting up product sampling plans to continually assess quality of production
-Liaising with contract manufacturers and warehouse, both in the UK and abroad
-Ensuring that product samples get to head office and quality reports generated.
