Our well established client in Weston-super-Mare are looking to appoint a Quality Production Operative to join them on a permanent basis. This role reports into the Quality Team Leader.

The Quality Production operative will be responsible for assisting the Quality Team Leader and Quality & Compliance Manager in ensuring goods supplied by our company adhere to customer, internal and regulatory requirements. Aspects of the role will involve supporting the Manufacturing team in the production of materials.

As Quality Production Operative your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Inspection of manufactured goods in an effective and timely manner
  • Inspection of goods inwards, including from outwork suppliers.
  • Recording and reporting of identified and customer non-conformities.
  • Liaison with internal departments regarding inspection of materials
  • Completion & assessment of Manufacturing Test Reports
  • Manufacture products as directed, per product drawings/specifications in line with company procedures.
  • Report any potential issues or deviations from given drawings/specifications.
  • Ensure that all machines are approved prior to use for safety in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines
  • Ensure all quality checks and sign off procedures are conducted.
  • Ensure all maintenance programs are adhered to.
  • Other ad-hoc duties relating to Quality and Production activities.
For this role you will ideally have some experience with inspection duties but full training will be provided.
