Quality/Mechanical Inspector– Based Mansfield – Permanent Post / Day Shift

This position, working within a state of the art manufacturing facility, forms part of the Tool Making and Quality Support team functions.

You will have previous experience of mechanical and visual inspection, using various tools and processes associated with QI. The role involves inspection of both injection moulded and milled parts (moulded and metallic) and requires a confident approach to perform inspection and to make necessary assessments.

The position also involves processing and documenting material for non-conforming parts and reporting on findings to help manufacturing produce consistantly high quality products through refined processes.

Performing F.A.I.R.S and generating reports to include imagery (using optical equipment and macro video for example), the successful applicant will have a close working relationship with manufacturing and provide support to various stakeholders within the manufacturing cycle.

With a keen high for detail, a passion for quality combined with the ability to compile and complete concise reports, the post holder will enjoy connecting with the various departments which collectively form manufacturing.
