This is a terrific opportunity for a Quality and Regulatory Manager to join one of UK’s leading manufacturers and distributors of engineering innovative pneumatic & hydraulic fluid power pressure and miniature fluid control component solutions for the prestigious Scientific and Medical industry.
ROLE: QUALITY MANAGER
LOCATION: Based in Waterlooville, Hampshire. You may be looking for Quality Management jobs in Waterlooville, Havant, Fareham, Portsmouth, Winchester, Haslemere, Southampton, Chichester, West Sussex or Surrey.
SALARY: £NEG basic salary, depending on experience plus benefits, career prospects, pension, ongoing training, performance related monthly bonus.
HOURS: 40 hrs per week, full time, permanent.
As QUALITY AND REGULATORY MANAGER, your pivotal role will be to support the strategic direction of the company in the day to day running of the quality department. Working closely with Operations and the wider business, you will be responsible for total quality management across the Company, inclusive of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Health and Safety Assurance, Compliance to Standards and Regulatory Guidance.

Your Role As Quality Manager Will Be To
  • Take responsibility for the regulatory Health and Safety requirements surrounding all quality processes, COSHH, equipment and the workplace.
  • Provide training, mentoring support, guidance and development opportunities.
  • Manage Quality Management System to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Schedule and carryout internal audits to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 QMS requirements.
  • Host external audits for ongoing compliance and support for efficient processes in each department.
  • Report findings back to top management conveying any need for improvement.
  • Manage and control the Document Management System, including the Change Control Process.
  • Oversee Compliance and Regulatory requests from customers, ensuring thorough communication.
  • Manage Continuous Improvement Logs and adhere to Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensure the Inspection and Calibration services are provided to the highest satisfaction.
To be a successful Quality and Regulatory Manager, you will have at least 5 years’ experience of Workflow and Performance Management / Total Quality Management in the Engineering/ Manufacturing industry, with excellent interpersonal, analytical & problem-solving skills.
An experienced Quality Manager, with a Lead or Internal Auditor qualification, possibly a NEBOCH qualification, a solid understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Control Standards, Quality Management Methodologies, Lean and Continuous Improvement Techniques and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
