This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional Quality Manager with manufacturing and automotive experience to join a company producing world class, top end electronic products. You will be responsible for running the Quality Team and providing Quality Assurance, Quality Control and overall Quality Management System ownership for the business
The Role:

  • Lead quality team and quality objectives
  • Ownership of the Quality Management System for the department
  • Project Quality Management
  • Drive end-to-end operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Performing Internal & Supplier audits and monitoring
  • Root cause analysis & closure of internal and external non-conformances (8D & 5 why’s)
  • Prepare reports and documentations on non-conformances and corrective measures
  • Logging internal corrective actions and action plans
  • Inspect finished goods and raw materials to find defects and enhance durability
  • Administering PPAP and APQP requirements for Automotive customers
  • Managing warranty claims
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, production engineering or another related field.
  • Proven experience in quality management and team leadership
  • Audit experience, both conducting internal and managing supplier & customer audits
  • Understanding of industry standard quality processes/systems like ISO, TS, is essential.
  • Understanding of OEM specific automotive quality practice and process (APQP, PPAP, Part Warrant, etc.) is essential
  • Ability to take the initiative and make sound judgments in work methods and interpreting goals
  • Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analyses and devise suitable preventive action plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate new processes clearly and document critical aspects of the job
