Main duties of the job

  • Communicate the clinical, legislative, policy and procedural framework to all team members, both internally and externally. This will help to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that clinical care is delivered consistently and in line with best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals. This will help to ensure that everyone is working together to provide the best possible care.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As our Quality Lead, you’ll carry the day-to-day responsibility for professional leadership and evidence-based practice within our dedicated team at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely and collaboratively with the Operational Lead, you’ll ensure safe and effective service delivery in line with service specifications and contracted clinical activity. Your commitment to the highest standards and quality of service will be instrumental in shaping our clinical area and supervising the team.

While this role isn’t primarily clinical, you’ll have the chance to allocate up to 40% of your time to direct clinical work, depending on the needs of the team and your expertise. This provides a unique opportunity to maintain a hands-on approach and positively impact patient care.
