Quality Inspector.

Location:LE2, Leicester

Hours: 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 12:30 on Friday.

Leicester based Client looking for a Quality Inspector, ideal position for a candidate who is looking and wants be able to grow into the Quality Manager’s role within 3 years..

Supplying major yellow goods manufacturers, heavy duty agriculture equipment suppliers & power generators.

Quality Inspector role:

• Mechanical Engineering Background, knowledge of Steel standards and certifications would be beneficial.
• Familiar with ISO Standards.
• Capability to read Engineering Drawings.
• Willing to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform audits, tests, and inspections of materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Determine product compliance to drawings, processes and technical specifications.
• Be familiar with established inspection procedures and have the capability to use inspection/testing tools and instruments, knowledge of CMM Equipment would be an advantage.
• Record & File all test and audit reports.
• Identify and document nonconforming material in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Ensure adherences to policies and procedures accordingly.
