What You Need to Know

To carry out Inspection activities in line with Instrumentation and calibration department at the Greenbank site. Responsible for ensuring compliance with material/equipment specifications, EU directives, UK codes and standards


What We Are Looking For

Some of the Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-going compliance to the Proserv GBMS, work instructions & procedures are achieved.

  • Visual inspection of all IAC loadouts.

  • Preparation of QA Documentation Packs.

  • Maintain and ensure Control of Calibration equipment including records for inspection equipment.

  • Promoting quality awareness among workshops.

  • Assist the QHSE Manager with identifying, conducting, and documenting investigations on non-conforming parts and processes.

  • Liaising directly with Procurement on any purchased items.

  • Raising everyday QHSE standards.

  • Working directly with Engineering department to grant concession and technical review of components and work scopes.

  • Protecting & packing of components prior to issuing to Stores

  • Checking job paperwork for accuracy including delivery notes and certificates.

  • Identifying & stamping of material

  • Co-operation with colleagues to support QHSE Manager in achieving department objectives.

  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

  • Flexible working, adjusting to operational needs in short notice to reduce impact of order deadlines and business critical operations.


Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience within mechanical quality inspection and supplier control.

  • Knowledge of QC operations preferably in the oil and gas sector.

  • An ability to use measuring tools and be able to read technical drawing

  • Competent and experience in the use of Microsoft packages

Preferred

  • HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline preferred or relevant experience.

  • Must have an excellent understanding of product quality, preferably proven ISO 9001 experience.

  • Familiar with specification and requirements to comply with DOT, PED, TC, TPED & ADR.

  • A high level of tenacity in ensuring a quality product.

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
