Job title: Quality Inspector (Electronics)
Location: Northamptonshire, commutable from: Silverstone, Towcester, Northampton, Banbury, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Buckingham etc.
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 + Excellent Benefits!
Quality Inspector required to join our client in Northamptonshire.
Due to ongoing growth and expansion we are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a small multi-disciplined team of engineers. You will be joining a well established businesses where you will be seen as the "go to" person for inspection.
What is the role?
As the Quality Inspector you will be required to undertake inspection and assembly tasks within a progressive production area where you will report to the Compliance Manager. This role is heavily biased towards inspection activities and will include some assembly work depending on the business requirements at that time. We expect that assembly shouldn’t generally take up more than 30% of your workload.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Include

Undertake inspection to IPC Standards (610 & 620).
Responsible for goods in through to staged and final inspections.
Undertake 100% visual inspection on PCBs.
Getting involved with aspects of assembly: module, cable, sub-assemblies, crimping etc.
Contribute and actively support continuous improvement processes whilst adhering to the Quality Management System.
What are we looking for?
To be considered for the Quality Inspector position, we are looking for:
Demonstrable experience working within a similar role, inspection of electrical/electronic components.
Experienced in various aspects of assembly: module, cable, wiring, sub-assemblies etc.
Experience working to IPC 610 & 620 is desirable.
British National/Citizen - due to Security Clearance.
Driving License and Car - location is rural with no public transport
