Matcon, a division of IDEX MPT Inc, has been providing powder handling solutions for the processing of powders, granules and tablets using Intermediate Bulk Container technology for over 40 years. Matcon operates globally across a range of manufacturing industries, including food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, chemical and metal powders.

Tasks

To support our Operations Team in Evesham, we are looking for you as

Quality, Health & Safety Manager (m/f)

In your role as QH&S Manager (m/f) at Matcon you support the international business in ensuring all elements of Quality processes, Health and Safety compliance are met by the efficient and diligent management of our internal processes.

YOUR TASKS

• Conduct an annual review of the Company’s main Quality, Health and Safety Policies ensuring continuity and improvement year on year
• Maintain/enhance current quality system and quality manual
• Maintain ISO 9001 accreditation and list of Matcon Quality Forms (MQFs), Work Instructions (MWIs)
• Carry out and manage risk assessments on all Matcon processes as required to maintain obligations for Quality, Safety compliance
• Carry out research and advise Management on new legislation that influences Matcon’s compliance certification in relation to Quality, Health and Safety
• Support and manage audits related to Quality, Health and Safety as required to maintain the company’s Certifications
• Create and drive action plans for corrective actions following Audits

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• NEBOSH qualified or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in successful implementations of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems is highly desired
• Good knowledge of current legislation and best practice
• Self-motivated, well organized, with an attention for detail
• Well organized and able to work to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements in a manufacturing environment would be a plus
• Experienced working autonomously as well as in teams
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to get people on board
• Ability to occasionally travel overseas
