Polytec are looking for a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager for our Cambridge based client.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead QHSE, maintaining ISO accreditations
  • Lead Internal and external Audit Process including necessary follow-up actions
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of QMS document system
  • Training across all Health, Safety, Environmental and QMS policies and procedures
  • Support QA data collection for reporting, business process and planning
  • Responsible for Risk Assessment, Safe Working Practice and COSHH assessment program
  • Co-ordinating plant maintenance program
  • Manage customer complaints
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position with a manufacturing company
  • Formal Health & Safety Qualification (IOSH /NEBOSH General Certificate Level 3)
  • Internal Auditing to ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001;2015, OHSAS 18001
  • Experience in developing / continuous improvement of ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Knowledge and experience in organisational effectiveness and implementing best practices
  • Experience in the medical device industry would be beneficial
  • Experience managing quality systems at multiple manufacturing sites
  • Amenable for occasional travel
