JOB TITLE:Quality Compliance Officer

LOCATION: Sugar Lookout Suite, Channel Court, 8 Hill Road, Clevedon, BS21 7NE

SALARY: £35,000 - 45,000

HOURS:37.5 Mon- Fri 9am-5pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break)

They put emphasis on social inclusion and reintegration through goal setting and future planning.

To meet values, all practitioners follow the CHIME framework, a recovery focused approach, designed specifically.

They require a Quality Compliance Officer to ensure the service meet and exceed regulatory, statutory, customer and organisational standards, through robust quality assurance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Mastermind compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the company
  • Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the company operates in accordance with guidance and legislation
  • Signpost staff to guidance and advice on policies and CQC standards
  • Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them
  • Sign off on any marketing and advertising collateral to ensure it is compliance
  • Promote and share best practice across care and support
  • Undertake and support quality development workshops as required
  • Remain up to date on guidance and legislation related to the company and update policies accordingly
  • Perform compliance audits to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where they can be improved
  • Maintain up to date written documentation and policies
  • Undertake Quality and Compliance Audits in line with regulatory, contractual and company requirements
  • Record, analyse and report findings from audits and quality reviews
  • Produce SMART action plans in line with audit and review findings, supporting company-wide continuous improvement
  • Raise safeguarding or serious non –compliance and risk issues
  • Create compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions
  • Source appropriate training providers and evaluate their performance to ensure they meet the learning and development needs of care and support staff
  • Ensure learning opportunities meet the requirements of CQC standards
  • To ensure staff achieve the Care Certificate within six months of starting
  • Ensure all training records are up to date
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of information relating to clients, staff, and other users of the services in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 including outside of the work environment. Any breach of confidentiality may render an individual liable for dismissal and/ or prosecution.
  • Participate in CPD

To undertake any other duties within the scope of the role and within your skill set as requested.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in the care sector.
  • Relevant health or social care qualification or other professional qualification.
  • Knowledge and Awareness of CQC and Fundamental Standards of Quality & Safety, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty, and Person Centred Plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to listen attentively to others.
  • Ability to collaborate and work professionally .
  • Experience of supervising and supporting staff, and deploying staff resources efficiently to meet the needs of the service.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of best practice.
  • Proven ability to plan and organise the delivery of the service.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
