We are looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager (RP) in Grange Park 3.

The position holder will ensure and retain compliance at the GP3 site for areas including but not limited to: Regulated Agent CAA/DFT status, Home Office, Health and Safety and Site Maintenance. To focus on GDP compliance of products and services based on EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C343/01).

The role will offer a salary of £40-45K, bonus, car allowance, family health cover and an opportunity to work remotely on average 50% of the time (subject to business requirements).

Key responsibilities:
1. Quality
a. Lead and/or support any audits relating to CA, certified bodies, authorities, or clients.
b. Induct and train all staff to the correct CAA/DFT level dependent on duties
c. Participate in site management meetings.
d. Ensuring that a Quality Management system in compliance with GDP guidelines is maintained.
e. Ensuring all GDP related training programmes are implemented and maintained.
f. Manage the change management process.
g. Responsible for the management of Events and CAPA’s.
h. Manage suppliers and sub-contractors in line with GDP.
i. Manage a self-inspection programme and any necessary corrective measures.
j. Be fully trained as RP (Responsible Person).
k. Ensuring that any additional requirements imposed on goods by national law are adhered to.

2. Administration
a. Keeping appropriate records of any delegated duties.
b. Accuracy and quality of records.
c. Work with HR on 5-year pre employment and DBS checks as per CAA/DFT requirements.
d. Updating AQua with latest SSOW/WI provided by central H&S.
e. Review of site-specific documents.
f. Work with site administration/management and the centralised maintenance department to manage remedials and repairs.
g. Work with site administration/H&S to ensure permit to works are completed accurately and all relevant signoff obtained.
h. Completion of site YES/5S assessments.

3. Inventory
a. Work with inventory/customers during stock counts to ensure accurate/effective reporting of information.
b. Ensuring any suspected counterfeit or falsified products are quarantined to prevent distribution and arrange to notify customers and relevant authorities.

4. Customer Service
a. Coordinating and promptly performing any recall operations for medicinal products.
b. Ensuring customer complaints are dealt with effectively.
c. Ensuring customers and suppliers are approved.

Key requirements:
  • Proven experience in GDP environment or experience in Quality systems with knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO13485, ISO28000, ISO45001, ISO14001. GDP trained.
  • Trained as Responsible Person.
  • Knowledge of GDP legislation.
  • Knowledge of Logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of QMS documentation and systems as wells as risk analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder influencing and customer management skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Fast learner, ability to pick up systems quickly.
  • Flexible to work hours required of the business.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Computer literate in the standard Microsoft packages as well as warehouse management systems
