This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking, international start up company, the are seeking a Software Quality Manager to take charge of their quality program.

This exciting company are looking for an experienced Software Quality Manager to help them in their mission to provide large genomic data management solutions for the benefit of precision medicines.

This opportunity will be based in Cambridge, and it will involve working in co-operation with both the engineering teams and professional service teams. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the company’s products meet the regulatory safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities;

• Bring about a Quality Assurance program for ISO 13485 quality management system.
• Writing and maintain QA records to ensure compliance with ISO standards 13485 and 27001.
• Contribute to the design and management of business processes such as; change control and software verification and validation
• Asist in the production of test plans, cases, scenarios and data
• Analyse risk level of product defects
• Map out resolutions for all quality management issues
• Managing employee’s involvement in training activities
• Managing and mentoring of QA employees
• Communication with external partners on quality issues
  
  

Requirements

Required experience;

• Degree in Software Engineering, Quality Management/Assurance or related field
• Experience in industry dealing with quality and reliability practices for large software projects
• Experience of working in regulated environments in the life sciences
• Previous experience working with tools used in data validation/comparison
• Competence in quality management and ISO standards
• Experience of quality management strategies in cloud-based applications using big data components
• Be familiar with agile practices for example Jira and Confluence
