About the Role

  • The role is based within the University’s Academic Registry reporting to the Academic Registrar.
  • Responsible for the Higher Education (HE) Quality and Data Cycle (QDC), ensuring there is a month by month plan underpinning internal continuous monitoring and enhancement activities. The role will link with a number of stakeholders to ensure the appropriate and timely planning of activities, to inform practice and decision making.
  • As well as leading the QDC, the role will also have a pivotal role in manipulating data sources to produce data and reports to inform monitoring and evaluation of HE academic activities
  • Additionally, the role will be responsible for overseeing, and delivering a number of staff training / dissemination activities to ensure staff are supported to engage with quality assurance and enhancement expectations.

About You

  • You will be able to mange projects, spanning a range of stakeholders, in an organised and efficient way.
  • You will be able to analyse and communicate complex concepts and data, clearly and confidently, to a variety of audiences.
  • You will ideally have experience of HE quality assurance.
  • You will possess excellent interpersonal skills to demonstrate how will you meet the demands of working in a complex HE environment and operate successfully across University and departmental boundaries.
  • You will have high levels of personal credibility and the intellectual capacity to offer imaginative and compelling solutions to continuous enhancement and data reporting issues.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience of prioritising work and managing workloads successfully, including responding to unforeseen circumstances.
