Our client is a highly successful food manufacturing company in Milton Keynes

Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit 2 Quality Assurance Auditors, one to work 4 on 4 off Days 6-6; and 1 to work 4 on 4 off Nights 6-6.

The Quality Assurance Auditors will be assisting the Senior QA Manager with the technical function within the manufacturing site ensuring all materials including finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specification, legislation and customer requirements. To take a responsibility for helping to maintain Food Safety and Quality Standard for the site.

Key Accountabilities
  • To monitor the necessary HACCP & pre-requisite checks are carried out to meet legal, quality and safety standards, which is including further tasks:
  • Identify non-conformances, reporting them promptly in order to ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
  • Completion of complaints investigation work when required, advising line manager on any corrective actions.
  • To manage and complete sampling/swabbing and sending and logging of external laboratory testing.
  • Extensively throughout lease with production, hygiene and engineering colleagues to ensure technical issues and non-conformances are understood and necessary actions are undertaken. In addition to all this ensure all audits are completed to specified frequency.
  • Audits: CCP, GMP, Glass & Plastic, Fabrication, Process, Red Flag, Black Bag & Micro Investigation Audit.
  • To make sure all process related documentation is completed and compliant, to include production records, internal audits, before being filed away.

The successful Quality Assurance Auditor will preferably have worked in a food manufacturing environment
  • HACCP and/or Food safety level 3 certificate, preferable but not essential
  • Must have GCSE / NVQ / Equivalent - English and Maths

Salary for the Quality Assurance Auditor role is

£22,000 - £23,000 for Days or

£25,000 - £26,000 for Nights

depending on level of experience
