Established in 2009, the business has grown year on year due to excellent customer service and the amazing internal training program which supports staff to progress up through the company. Within their team of 16, all of the staff are passionate and dedicated to offering excellent customer service. They believe that accountancy is about more than just adding up numbers and that view has helped them continue to grow throughout the last year.

They have offices in Bishop Auckland, Middlesbrough and Newton St Boswells (Scotland) and this role is based at the Bishop Auckland office.

The role will involve the ability to, or work towards to;

• Manage a portfolio of Clients
• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole-traders, limited companies and partnerships.
• Preparation & Submission of Individual Tax Returns, Company Tax Returns & Vat Returns
• Management Accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis on site with key clients
• Training junior staff members
• Dealing with HMRC for any Income Tax/Corp Tax/VAT / PAYE & NI enquiries/issues and investigations
• Providing Tax Advice to client’s ad-hoc
  
  

Desirable Qualifications

• Either Qualified or working towards ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ATT or qualified by experience
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Excellent customer service & friendly approach
• Experience within an accountancy practice would be useful
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Word/Excel
• Experience with cloud accounting software would be useful
