Qualified Accountant - ACCA / CIMA

Location; Rochdale - on site car parking and close to the M62

Salary; c £45,000 PLUS Annual Bonus and a Comprehensive Benefits Package

Our Client is a World Leading Service Support and Work Flow specialists who are looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant - the role is office based at their UK Head Office based on the edge of Rochdale.

Reporting to the Finance Controller and working as a Senior across a small / professional and highly capable Finance team the need to recruit is due to an Internal Promotion - out of the UK Head Office.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT;

RESPONSIBILTIES OF THE ACCOUNTANT;

The role of the Qualified Accountant will work across;

  • Prepare fixed asset register and calculate monthly depreciation
  • Prepayments
  • Accruals
  • Cash flow forecast and monitoring
  • Weekly/fortnightly payment runs (GBP, EUR, USD, CNY)
  • Calculate bad debt provision
  • Revalue AR and AP balances / banks balances / FX forward contracts
  • Intercompany balance reconciliation / Group reporting / accruals / payments
  • Prepare and report financial P&L in Group reporting tool
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and report in Group tool
  • Prepare monthly sales file in Excel
  • Reconcile and maintain supplier account
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and queries
  • Monthly VAT return
  • Support with preparation of statutory accounts

Personal Profile:

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with robust experience in a management accounts role
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the business
  • Strong time management – ability to manage workload
  • Key eye for attention to detail
