I am working with a leading Chemical organisation who have the best footprint for this sector across the UK. They have been operating for over 30 years and are keen to bring confident, personable, and dedicated people into the organisation. They have been known for their work within the community and education sectors for young students and their business success comes from their tailor-made service for their customers.

They are offering a salary between £28,000 to £30,000 per annum with 35 days holiday including bank holidays, an annual bonus scheme, free food and meals, sick pay after 12 months service, free parking onsite and a company pension, along with a great working environment and a friendly/ inclusive team.

The Duties Of The Quality Coordinator Are

  • Ensure the Quality Management System is to ISO 9001/2015 standard
  • Carry out internal auditing
  • Act as a representative with the Certification body
  • Ensure maintenance of quality procedures and documentation
  • Guarantee systems are in place to meet customer needs for HACCP and Hygiene requirements for production
  • Be aware of legislations surrounding health and safety at work
  • Ensure effective implementation of the health and policy with the company.
  • Carry out risk assessments and issue permits
  • Weekly site inspections
  • Monitor and test to ensure compliance is adhered to with regards to discharge consent
  • Liaise with the environment agency on their annual inspection
  • Assist with waste management
  • You will be directly working with the QSE Manager and Factory Manager.

In order to be successful in the Quality Coordinator role, you will have:

  • Knowledge of ISO9001/2015 and Internal auditing, ideally in a working capacity
  • NEBOSH or IOSH trained would be beneficial
  • A degree in Life Sciences or Environmental science would be preferable or experience of working in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of environmental management systems and permits
  • Strong planning, organisational and teamwork skills
  • Experience of presenting to a large group
  • Accuracy and competency in writing clear reports
  • Ability to work independently or with other teams
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive outlook
