Temporary - 6 month contractKent£12.50 - £15.00phKelly Scientific have partnered with one of the world’s leading Pharma Manufacturing Organisation to recruit a number of QC Analysts to work on a temporary ongoing contract.What will you be doing?You will undertake basic analytical testing and associated laboratory duties as necessary and assist the Laboratory Manager in ensuring safety in the laboratory and satisfactory quality standards in the materials manufactured.You will be responsible for,-Tests and analyses pharmaceutical drugs to determine their identity, purity andstrengthCollects and record receipt of samples from various sources and prepare for analysisUndertake the analysis of incoming samples and finished products to laid downspecifications using conventional analytical techniques eg HPLC, GCEnsures that pharmaceutical products are stored properlyLiaises with other professionals regarding the development, manufacturing and testingof pharmaceutical productsPrepare analytical reagents/media/cultures for general laboratory useEnsure that any waste materials are processed, recorded and disposed in accordancewith cGLP, safety and environmental requirementsEnsure all activities are performed in compliance with customer and ICH proceduresEnsure that all instruments are calibrated and adequately maintained prior to use.Verifies laboratory data and ensures accurate primary records are kept, reports anyanomalies or out of specification results to Section Leader.Maintains and supports the Stability program with respect to:Stability Diary o Stability Reports o Stability sampling programme o New product introductions o PCN requirementsReviews stability indicating methods.Generates stability reports suitable for inclusion in regulatory dossiersTo perform required housekeeping to maintain the laboratories GLP/GMP standards,including glassware washingTo perform required housekeeping to maintain the laboratories GLP/GMP standards,including glassware washingOther reasonable tasks as required by a manager / team leader.We are keen to speak with candidates with a proven Knowledge of analytical techniques HPLC/GC (including stability indicating methods) and ICH requirements essential.
