QA Manager Shepton MalletOur client is a successful manufacturer of Food products. They are now seeking a QA Manager in a newly created role working for a company with both a family feel and a professional work ethic who pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service.The QA Manager will be responsible for maintaining food safety and quality systems for all products and processes to meet food regulatory, compliance and company standards. Managing a small Technical team you will be responsible for the maintenance of the company’s BRC accreditation and other external accreditations as required by differing customer markets.The role of the QA Manager will involve:Effective management & implementation of HACCP. Regular liaison with customer technical contacts. Management of ingredient, packaging & equipment suppliers including supplier approval & specifications. Lead contact for BRC, customer, 3rd party & any other technical audits on site.. Work with the Production & Quality Teams to ensure that agreed standards are met & effectively communicated. QA Manager Skills / Experience Required oHas recognised HACCP (minimum level 3), Food Safety (minimum level 3 desirable) and internal auditing qualifications. oHas a minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role oHas knowledge and experience of BRC accreditation oExperience of multiple retailer codes of practice oAbility to lead, train and develop a team Salary £ Negotiable DOE If the role is of interest, then please send your CV today
