Tec Partners are working exclusively, with one of the most well-known Computer Gaming companies in the World. They have grown rapidly in recent years, producing some of the most ground breaking Mobile games for the last 2 years. As such, they are looking to add a new QA Lead Engineer to one of their established team of Test Engineers to help lead the next generation of development within their business.

As a QA Lead in this company, you will be responsible for the Product output of QA by making sure the strategy which is agreed and the base level is carried out throughout the QA process. As the QA Lead, you will be mentoring, guiding and line-managing a team of tester at varying levels of experience.

To be considered for this role, you will be expected to have a background in production pipeline, testing and live products so that you are able to support the QA Engineers across the team.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Work from Studio level to guide the testing strategy within the QA team to cover both Non-Functional and Functional Testing
  • Lead the team and ensure best-practice
  • Work alongside your QA Manager to consider new trends and input new ideas
  • Prioritise and manage workload for yourself and the team
  • Work alongside other QA Leads and Managers
Skills You Will Need For This Role
  • Previous experience of working as a QA Lead (Ideally within the Gaming Industry)
  • When previously working as a Team Lead, have demonstrable experience of goal setting, discipline, best-practice etc.
  • Understanding and experience of working within LIVE projects
  • ISTQB Certified
  • Strong understanding of iOS and Android devices including SDKs
  • Testing experience on MMO’s, Sandbox or ARPGs
