We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to play a key role in the quality assurance of our SaaS solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to support with the design and implementation of a robust QA strategy that ensures high-quality outputs. We are open to part time and flexible working for this role. What you’ll do Design test scripts and data and execute test cases for complex technical and business solutions Bring a QA perspective to planning sessions by reviewing and providing feedback and test effort on user stories Analyse QA related issues (defects/tickets) in a timely fashion and ensure that bugs are handled in accordance with severity & priority Create & maintain automated test suites & framework Build and maintain regression test packs for each release Execute test plans to agreed timescales and provide regular updates to the teams Proactively identify potential risks in achieving personal and project timescales and report appropriately What you’ll bring Essential Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, manual and automated test techniques, tools, processes and best practice Strong background in writing automated functional and unit tests in C# and JavaScript 3 years of experience in UIs and APIs automated test creation Understand where & when automation testing fits into the SDLC, specifically Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) Extensive experience in Test Management and Automation Tools – such as JIRA, Zephyr, Selenium, SpecFlow, Postman, REST APIs Familiar with good development practices to create and maintain clean, readable code to industry standards. Experience defining and executing non-functional tests cases using standard testing techniques. Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, can-do attitude, self-starter & proactive approach to problem-solving.
