Purchase Support Assistant - StourbridgeKey Responsibilities
  • Freight tracking and import management (Land / Air and Sea)
  • Date Entry
  • Liaising with various departments to resolve issues
  • Ensuring data integrity is maintained
  • Invoice validation and approval
  • Raising payment requests
  • Answering / making phone calls
  • Filing
  • Raising purchase orders
EssentialSkills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Previous Admin experience
  • Strong IT skills, Office 365 in particular
  • Experience of using MRP / ERP systems
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
  • Ability to work independently
  • Is accountable and takes responsibility Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professional ethics
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Desirable
  • Experience of international imports and shipping
  • Previous purchasing / supply chain experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset
Working HoursThe hours are 37.5 per week.Start time 8:30amFinish time: 5pm (3:30pm on Friday)Lunch break: 45 minutes (30 minutes on Fridays)
