Junior Buyer (Electronics)

Warwick

£25,000 - £30,000 + training + mentorship + progression + excellent holidays + early finish Fridays

Are you from a Purchasing background, looking to advance your career with a global company renowned for providing high-end solutions to OEM’s such as Siemens, Samsung, and Airbus? You will benefit from close mentorship from the Head of Department, with fantastic potential to move into a senior / leadership position within a growing team?

You will be involved in the procurement of electrical components for exciting new projects, and the scheduling of them with the supply chain and internal departments. You will be working in a small but specialist team within an expanding market-leading and global business, benefitting from a hugely rewarding role, forming an integral part of a friendly and vibrant team.

The Role
  • Liaise internally with all departments as well as existing supply chain.
  • Sourcing and scheduling of electronic components.
  • Negotiating and improving pricing.
  • Participating in production meetings and communicating progress reports with relevant departments.
The Person
  • Some experience as a Purchaser / Buyer.
  • Basic knowledge of Electronics is a nice to have.
