About the role

The candidate would be dedicated to ensuring that all invoices are matched to a purchase order with discrepancies investigated in a timely manner.

The candidate should be comfortable liaising with suppliers and competent in completing supplier statement reconciliations and preparing payment runs.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that all supplier records are maintained and updated on internal systems;
  • Processing of key supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders;
  • Submission and resolution of supplier queries;
  • Completion of statement reconciliations;
  • Petty Cash management;
  • Assist in the preparation of management reporting;
  • Ensure strict confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are essential for this role. However, the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, will have attained a good all-round standard of education and will be competent using a variety of software platforms.

The position offered is based out of Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office.
