Here at Rebus Recruitment, we are very excited to be exclusively working with a fantastic Blackburn based industry leader where an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. The company boasts impressive profit and growth over the past 10 years and is continuing to grow but has managed to keep that family feel ethos. You will be part of a friendly and very busy and productive finance department where you will be reporting directly into a supportive Finance Manager. With this companies’ growth comes many opportunities and the company understands the importance of valuing and developing people from within, this makes it a very exciting time to join this wonderful team.Duties include: -
  • High volume of invoices to be processed daily.
  • Preparation of weekly payment runs.
  • Investigating any anomalies
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Expenses processing
  • Weekly statement reconciliations
  • Processing of foreign currency invoices and payments
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with any further administration across the business
The successful candidate will have experience with: -
  • Purchase ledger used to work with high volume.
  • Have accurate data entry skills.
  • Be methodical in approach.
  • Have a strong attention to detail.
  • Will be a good communicator.
  • Can prioritise workloads.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Wants to work effectively with in a close team.
  • Preferably have started AAT studies or similar accountancy qualification.
