We are currently recruiting for Punch press setter/operator for a bespoke sheet metal engineering company. This position is for a well established company who are continuing to work through the lockdown period. Health and safety measures are in place to protect against Covid-19

The Job Role

  • Setting and operating on Amada punch press machine
  • Reading from engineering drawings and liaising with the design team.
  • Working with a variety of materials such as mild/stainless and aluminium
  • Working a bespoke products.

Experience/Requirements

  • Punch Press experience would be advantageous.
  • 2 +years experience on Amada punch press machines would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working with mild steel

The Package

  • 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
  • Starting rate between £10.50- £11.50
  • Free staff parking
  • Opportunity for overtime in the future.
