Responsibilities

Kier is looking to recruit a Public Liaison Officer, who will report to the Senior Project Manager. The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing project public liaison support for all aspects of the designated business stream activities from pre-construction to project handover.

  • Assist the client in preparing project stakeholder engagement/communications plans.

  • Assist the project delivery team in maintaining day to day liaison with landowners, tenants and local residents.

  • Single public liaison point of contact for the project/ the appointed Public Liaison Officer (PLO).

  • Maintain records of all consultation, including actions taken as a result of communications received from the public or stakeholders during construction.

  • Be responsible for delivering the Contractors obligations with regards to section 3 of CEEQUAL* assessment (Communities and Stakeholders). This includes community consultation, assessment of demographics, public liaison and the management of a Stakeholder Engagement Plan.

What do we need from you?

  • Can demonstrate relevant experience as a community officer/ public liaison officer.

  • Good self-motivation

  • Good organisation skills and time management

  • Knowledge of full MS Office suite including Project, Project Server and SharePoint
