Newly formed Shared Service Centre due to be based in Manchester City Centre require an Accounts Payable to form an integral part of centralising the finance department (fully remote)

Key responsibilities of the PTP Manager will include:

  • Responsible for the entire OOH process and departmental functions such as Vendor master maintenance, invoice processing & PO matching, payment processing, handling vendor and staff queries
  • Identify clear objectives for the team, providing coaching, career development and feedback to team members, providing performance evaluation and reward
  • Closely work with the business teams and effectively manage the Requisition & PO compliance process
  • Participate and Lead in cross functional process and system improvement initiative strategic thinking:
  • Responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback & assisting them to improve on their identified training needs
  • Develop and publish weekly / monthly / quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and executive management
  • Identify continuous process improvement initiatives and implements best practices to achieve operational efficiencies
  • Develops, implements, and updates internal operating policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Experience of using an ERP system
  • Understanding & experience of PTP processes
  • Management skills and experience
  • Demonstrative issue/query resolution management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good Commercial acumen
  • Good Excel skills
  • Excellent ability to build effective and sustainable relationships at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Finance and Accounting
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a position with leadership responsibilities
