Trainee Management Accountant + Study Support

Manchester City Centre

£30,000 – £35,000

This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who wants to become a Management Accountant!

The company appointed a young, dynamic, and passionate Finance Director at the start of 2022, and he has the most modern & refreshing approach to hiring and expanding his team.

His work ethics are second to none and he wants to bid farewell to long working hours and burnt-out staff; he wants everyone in his team to be able to progress and develop but without being overworked or under pressure!

This will be his first hire since he started and he is looking to transform the finance team and the way it operates – allowing staff time off to focus on exams, build development plans to work towards and hold regular appraisals to aid your progression.

He doesn’t want to be perceived as a stereotypical FD; he is more than happy to delegate and will give you exposure into management accounting right from your first few weeks with the business – so you won’t simply be doing the “leg work” whilst he takes the glory in the Board Meetings.

All he is asking for is that you already have month-end and transactional accounting – he will then use this as the foundations to ensure you can step up into a Management Accountant role within your first 6-12 months with the business.

The experience you gain will fall in line with your ACCA/ CIMA studies; gaining an insight into MI reporting, cash flow forecasting & budgeting.
