Our client is an Award winning and leading provider in the telecoms industry that has been in operation for over 20 years.They take immense pride in the services they deliver, including the in-house designed WiMAX wireless solution and bespoke Holiday Park Connectivity options.Despite the changes we have seen in the market over the past 18 months, they are still rapidly growing and have a high demand for there services.Our client have big plans to bring pure fibre internet services to thousands of residents and businesses across the Kent and surrouding areas.With this growth and the amazing opportunities they have in front of them, they are now looking for someone dynamic to be part of that.The right candidate will be based around the Canterbury and wider Kent area with some travel around the UK. The job is field based. A clean driving license is essential.They are looking for an experienced telecoms installer. An insight to wireless and fibre technology would be extremely advantageous. Ideally you will be a great leader, who also has a meticulous approach to quality.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, for other telecommunication companies or satellite based installers, would of course be advantageous.
  • An understanding of wireless technologies and the radio spectrum will be required
  • Experience of routing cables, mounting aerials, poles and brackets will be required.
Full training will be given but applicants MUST show to have the following Attributes & Essential Skillset.These Should Include
  • Confident Working at Heights
  • Experience Working with Ladders
  • Experience of using Safety Equipment
  • Good Knowledge of using PC/Laptop & Software Packages
  • Field / Site based H&S understanding
  • Use of power tools and all associated hand tools required for the type of role
Your job will include both installations and maintenance at residential properties and commercial premises. As this position is customer facing, you will be required to present a friendly, helpful, positive attitude at all times. You will also be required to dress appropriately for the role and therefore you will be provided with company branded attire to allow you to be the external representative of the company.All tools and equipment will also be provided to perform the role.A fully equipped clean company van will be provided on completion of trial period for the right candidates.Job Types - Full-time, PermanentBenefits
