Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a teacher of Art looking for a new role in Oldham?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented teacher of Art to join a small private school to start from as soon as possible.

This is a part time teaching role, 1 day a week.

The Role

Teacher of Art

Mondays 8.30am - 3.30pm

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and GCSE Art and Design

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

The ideal applicant will also have a good understanding of Islamic Art

The academy are interested in hearing from Newly Qualified Teachers and experienced Teachers.

They would also consider applications from overseas trained or further education trained teachers

Applicants must support the Islamic ethos of the school .

Small oversubscribed private Islamic school for boys aged 11-16

Ofsted Good with outstanding

Small classes of 8-10 students per class.

Independent school with small classes, focus on pastoral care as well as high academic achievement

Strong leadership team

To join us and be successful in this Art Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Art or similar
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience of teaching Art to children or adults
  • A teaching qualification would be beneficial
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Ideally be able to provide excellent references
