Overview of function, team and the role

The Equinix EMEA Talent Acquisition team comprise of a team of dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative Recruiters, Sourcers and Coordinators, who are not afraid to challenge the status quo and disrupt the industry. We constantly strive to improve, and ensure we are meeting the demands of the business whilst becoming trusted partners to candidates as we support them through their journey into Equinix. We are team players who enjoy collaboration and partnership and want to innovate and evolve the way we hire to adapt to the changing market and are comfortable being critical of how we have done things in the past to drive continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for learning and curiosity, and who wants to see behind the curtain of how a regional Talent Acquisition function operates. Working closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition for EMEA, the wider EMEA Leadership team and our COE partners (New To Career TA team, Pathways Programmes, Talent Marketing and TA Operations), you will have the opportunity to contribute and own projects that allow the team to drive efficiencies, scale programmes, and deliver an outstanding customer experience to both our internal clients and candidates as we support the high growth of the organisation across EMEA.

What you will be doing (Responsibilities/Tasks)

  • Working on real-life projects that will add true value and have a big impact on our business

  • Data analysis and reporting – creating weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to show recruiting trends, identify challenges and drive prioritisation around efficiencies

  • Supporting on agenda setting and presentation creation for monthly TA All-Hands’ meetings and ad hoc business content

  • Partnership with COE teams (Talent Marketing, Pathway Programs, New To Career Programme) on market and partner research where required

  • TA systems and process review

  • Report and presentation creation for business leaders

  • Opportunity to network and collaborate with other interns across the globe

  • Take part of our summer programme with executive speaker series, networking events, shark tank project presentations and much more!

Who you are (Requirements/Qualifications)

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree studies

  • Available to work full-time between for the duration of the Summer Internship Program (July to September)

  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English

  • Ability to create accurate reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others

  • Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software

  • Knowledge of Tableau is a plus

  • A flare for Reporting, Analytics and Data

  • Additional Foreign Language skills are a welcomed bonus

  • Willingness to learn and try new ways of working

  • Unafraid to Speak up, check or challenge the way things are done
