What will I be doing?

As a Software Engineer within our Data & AI team there are a wide range of front-end, back-end and full-stack engineer opportunities at varying levels of seniority to help empower our customers to deliver compelling, innovative, and data-driven e-commerce experiences at global scale using our Ingenuity SaaS platform.

We have a variety of roles across the following key focus areas, many of which are early in the design process, so you have every opportunity to help shape our thinking and direction:

·Self-Service insights platform including Data APIs

·Data engineering modernisation to support our Machine Learning and core customer teams.

·Machine Learning Operations (MLops) – Delivering a broad range of Machine Learning models into production at scale

·Self-Service tooling and automation across all aspects of our SaaS platform to deliver “no touch” customer onboarding and configuration.

·Realtime event processing and insights at high scale

What skills and experience would I need?

Essential skills:

·Hands on development experience in Java, Python, Javascript, C# or another programming language

·Experience with REST APIs and Authentication

·Use of test-driven development and automated testing

·Good organisational, leadership and communication skills

Desired skills:

·Knowledge of at least one of the following database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases (e.g.) Couchbase, CockroachDB, Kafka)

·Understanding of client-side scripting, JavaScript frameworks, CSS3 and HTML5.

·Experience with microservice architecture (GraphQL / REST)

·Dev-ops experience (we use Kubernetes, Gitlab-CI, Airflow and Jenkins)

·Experience working with cloud environments (GCP preferable)
