The SEO / Digital Copywriter will create engaging copy that optimizes the effectiveness of our content for organic search and engages our target audiences online. The SEO / Digital Copywriter will create and edit copy for our web pages, landing pages, emails, social media posts, infographics, and advertisements for multi-channel global marketing campaigns that support strategic business objectives.

We are seeking a creative and detail-focused individual who can collaborate extensively across regions and business lines to create compelling content consistently in our global brand voice. Working with our global strategic marketing team, the SEO / Digital Copywriter will also analyze user behavior on our website and other digital channels to edit and optimize existing content that will captivate our audience and boost our organic search rankings and visibility.

We are seeking candidates with exceptional written English, a deep understanding of SEO writing strategies informed by marking technology platforms such as BrightEdge, and the ability to adapt writing style and tone to our brand and target audience.

Responsibilities:

• Writing high-quality short form copy for our email newsletters, social media posts, videos, etc.
• Writing engaging long-form copy for our web and landing pages, blogs, etc.
• Interviewing subject matter experts as needed for additional information or clarification.
• Research and fact-check thoroughly to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Making authoritative editorial and process decisions and recommendations.
• Employ SEO research strategies to inform copywriting using SEO tech platform.
• Work with the Global Content and Editorial Director to ensure copy meets all language, structure, tone, and informational requirements.
• Work with the design team to create and choose visuals that combine with copy to create an exceptional user experience across our digital platforms.

• BA in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of SEO / digital marketing copywriting experience.
• A strong copywriting portfolio that includes email copy, web pages, blogs, etc., ideally including examples created for the built environment / infrastructure industry.
• Exceptional grammar, research, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills.
• Adaptable writing style for different audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO copywriting strategies using martech platforms (BrightEdge preferred).
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience with headless content management systems (Strapi preferred) and web publishing.
