Cubiq Recruitment are currently working with a globally recognised scientific product development company who are looking to add an experienced (Senior or Mid-level) Electronics Engineer to their R&D team based in Essex. The company in question are currently going through a period of sustainable growth to meet customer demand for new innovative products.

In this role, not only will you be tasked with re-design and re-development of existing products to meet demands of the ongoing component shortage and obsolescence issues, but you’ll use bluesky thinking to incorporate innovative ideas to solve customer challenges for new and future designs.

In addition to a formal qualification (HND, BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc) within Electronics, or a similar technical discipline, candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

  • A minimum o 5 years experience in the end-to-end lifecycle development of electronic products
  • Strong PCB design & layout experience
  • Analogue & digital circuit design
  • Familiarity with EMC compliance and constraints around electronics design
  • An investigative approach to problem solving and a keen eye for innovation
